The needels after full sweep should stop at 3000 rpm , speed 100 km/h or 60 mph |

Hey again, post is old but yeah..
Still haven't solve this.
Line 60 in vcds I have tried 0 and 1025 and 1027, nothing. Also tried 4 cyl and 6,8 cyl, nothing.
The rpm is very 'jerky' in vcds output test, and does not return.
And now I also have a standalone ecu, but i have activated can audi 7.5, that maxxecu say will work with can cars.
For the record, i got a 98 s4 with rs4 00 cluster

Update guys!
I have now wired a oil level sensor to cluster and it works. And then I wired canbus from my standalone ecu, the rpm didn't work, bought another cluster from facelift b5 and it did work.
So, something else than the rpm potentiometer is faulty.
So then I did it simple, got the eeprom 1.19 to work with a kkl kable, and I changed the milage on the new cluster. And I moved over the cluster faces(?) So I got the rs4 boards in the a4 cluster.
New problem. The km/h on a4 goes to 280 and rs4 310 km/h.
I thought i could just read the rs4 eeprom and write to a4 cluster and I did, don't know yet if it shows the correct speed because yeah I have to drive like 250 km/h for it to show. But what I have noticed is that the trip meter is way of, took a drive this morning for about 15 kilometers and the trip said 65 kilometers, but the speedo said I traveled in 40km/h and I did.
Can I not write eeprom from rs4 to a a4 cluster ?
