Still raises the question why this DTC comes up; what can trigger it? It definitely didn't come out of the factory like this.

1070F + 63 = 10772  = CLALSH and 10773 = CLALSV
I feel quite stupid, CLALSV was defined in my XDF and it says exactly in the FR what it does. Thanks again though.

Now this code can't be a specific SW version issue either. I've got a friend running 032DE 0002 pretty much identical cars both modelyear 2001, he doesn't have the P0130 issue. I've also tried 032DE 0001 or 0002 no difference. Now I know another guy also has P0130 issue but i think it's an AUQ on 032HJ. There has to be some (probably easy) explaination for this.

Hiding the fault is not my preferred method but i'm really out of ideas at this point.

CLALSH is post o2 but i think if you use this it still shows up on VCDS. Setting diagnose codewords to 0 is better.

I have seen this on occasion as well, unexplained.

Its dumb way to mask dtc; no o2 reg and no trims with it

Id say there is few reasons for that

- as gremlin said on some long engines this code appears when setting cwkonls 1
- poisoned with rich mixture at start
- cdlsh and other emissions delete mistakes
- on a stock setup it could be from the second o2 in some conditions if its shows too different mixture than first sensor

Yeah, that does suck. Perhaps a stupid suggestion but maybe i could set a diagnosis threshold to a much higher value? I'll see if the FR makes me any wiser.

Sometimes code gets set after maybe 30km sometimes 100km. Most of the times it doesn't get set when cruising, rather after a WOT pull. But i could be mistaken here..

Worth noting; it has a high pressure in line pump leading up to the 4 bar regulator on stock 317cc injectors. I have calibrated this correctly. (Tune that came on the car corrected using FKKVS, I use KRKTE instead)

- Code gets set on stock software and on my own 'tune'.

- I could try deleting second o2 again see if it stays out; i have tried this before though. I delete according to wiki, and either with or without the second o2 delete i eventually get P0130.

- Poisoned with rich mixture on cold start is definitely something i'm going to check later today.

I'm willing to try anything to properly resolve this issue as it has been driving me nuts for literally years now.

I believe page 443-448 of the FR have something to say about how these conditions are met and set. A lot of abbreviations I haven't seen before so i'll have to do some digging.

Very helpful user @stuydub has came up with this combination of codwords to get rid of P0130. I'm about to test this out today and have located all these codewords except for SRY codewords.

Attached are two screenshots, i know where 032HN SRY codewords are located. But i'm not 100% on what address the 032DE SRY codewords start. Should it be 0x1097E or 0x1097F?

sry are for readiness status has nothing directly to do with generating that code. I would advise getting another ecu or verify you dont have a 2l 8v ecu. youll get this code with a 2l ecu

Alright, thanks.

I have multiple ECU's 032DE and 032DR. Both throw this code, so definitely not an ECU problem.

Notes on this old topic: manifold had a crack which might or might not have caused this

Car is now on a K04-023 kit from a TT225 running 1ML906032A software. DTC hasn't came back  Grin
