Yes, on AEB is a different cam sensor impulse rotor. Change it and the error will dissappear.

Similar Problem here. I changed my cams to customised NA cams and mounted my old rotor to the cams. Vvt is still there and active. Im getting this error on wot Runs. Should i modify the Rotor to Mount it some degrees off or is there a map or Variable to modify?

I have an old VVT solenoid so I can fudge the open circuit etc diagnosis but still get the set point not reached fault... although I am pretty sure this is not the entire picture as I am not sure how this affects the logic of the ECU...

I will try and have a read of the functions doc and see if I can make any sense of it but I would imagine there are a few bits of the map that need setting to 0 to 'switch off' VVT rather than make the ECU ignore faults as it will still try and use the position 2 maps at a guess which is probably not the best idea....

I suppose you could set them all to be the same but disabling the act of using VVT seems a better approach to me...

330 Ohm resistor will fix the error of vvt solenoid open circuit error if you don't have an old solenoid laying around.!
