don't forget that flow rate is rated on 3 bar, at 4 bar BAM injectors give 440cc
That is enought for 340-350 g/s flow
But stock MAF, and stock ICs special can't keep up with K04 at full flow
So for around 380-400 hp they will be good

i ended up with 454cc, maybe we have slightly diff calcs not sure, added to https://s4wiki.com/wiki/Fuel_injectors

Yes, that's what I was counting on, everywhere the flow was given at 3Bar pressure, so I knew it would be very similar to the stock injectors on the RS4, but I don't know the exact calculation. How can this be calculated please?

We do know that intercoolers will be next in line for an upgrade, but that's for another time. The K04 was chosen so that turbochargers wouldn't have to be addressed in the future.
So what is the possible safe performance for k04, BAM injectors? The other components are original. Thanks. Smiley

269 g/min  I divide with 0.72 or 0.71 to get cc/min for petrol. That is why I get aprox. 440 cc/min at 4 bar.  Diff calc nothing else, petrol density vary with many factors. In this story not worth to mention

Fitting K04's on a S4 is a waste of time anyway.

Because to use them for full potential you need to:
1. Build the engine (at least conrods, they bend after 1.6 bar).
2. Get all new intercooling.
3. Get a full exhaust system incl. downpipes.
4. Upgrade the clutch.

At this point you might as well fit bigger turbos. If I only had $1000 every time I got a tuning request with "I have a stock car with K04's" lol.

1.6bar? Thats with the K04’s?
-on stock 1.8t I have heard people talk about 1.3/1.4? But that must be with a GT30+?! (My brother had a Caddy mk1 with GT3076 which ran 360hp at 1.2bar)

It will be the torque that bend, not the pressure alone?

You want some tuning with that pop and bang?
-Nahh it’s not good for the engine

Sort of. Turbos bigger than K04 generally take too long to spool (and you have to do everything you said). I still think K04s are great, you can't beat them for a very fun torque monster. But yes, they require a ton of supporting modifications.
