MED9.5 - keeping fuel trims when removing sensors
« on: October 11, 2021, 03:42:42 PM »
Hi guys,
I've been searching the forum and FR and from my understanding, there is no ESKONF on MED9.
What section do I need to look at in the MED9 FR to specify if a sensor or relay/motor is installed in the car - so I can keep my LTFT?
For example, from what I searched here I can disable the N80 valve diagnostics/DTCs with CWPSTEVE and CLATEVE - but I still lose fuel trims if unplugged.
Same with my EGR being unplugged. Currently I have it plugged in but disabled with CWAGR and 0'd AGR CLA tables.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

Set everything that starts with "CLA" back to stock.
If you get any codes that's why your trims are not working.
You need to disable diags and not turn off fault classes.

Editing just CWPSTEVE works fine. No codes. Thanks PRJ.

Setting TMTE to max value helped my lumpy idle in stratified mode (it was expecting the valve to be working).
