Hi,

Is it possibile to make white FIS 5N0920871B working with an old ASR MK70 1K0907379P without fault messages on LCD and annoying sounds?
Replace to newer ASR for example 1K0907379AK from mkVI can help or it must be ESP MK60?

Thanks.

Tried 1K0907379AK ASR MK70M, it worked a bit better because ESP fault message disappeared from FIS and beeps were gone but in the ABS module was DTC 01044 wrong coding 008 implausible signal, ABS and brake lamps unfortunatelly didn't disappear...

In ABS coding DSR was disabled because it caused G85 related faults at the begining.

Some people says that it can be related to region coding in dash but tried different and it didn't changed anything in my case.

The wrong coding error could be due to missing coding bridge. Check wiring diagram from your car with such type of unit.

Bridge was at pins 19-22 and I've changed it to 17-22 before putting "new" unit. With old dash new unit worked without DTC.

Btw its interesting that in Jetta mkVI was second bridge too.
The other thing is that new dash is 4WD and rest is FWD, doesn't know if it matters.

Edit:

Stupid mistake, ABS has this error if immo in dash is off...
