No need to do anything with checksum.

Did you already fit the emulator? Because that's the bigger problem in case of the roadrunner.

Hi Prj, thank you very much for your quick reply.  Smiley Ok, that means the Roadrunner automatically updates the checksum?

You mean because there is no PLCC adapter for it?
I don't have the Roadrunner yet but was planning to buy it.
Of course, I would prefer something like the ols 300 or an alternative that works with Winols 2.24

The checksum on this ECU only throws a fault code, it does not prevent the ECU from running.
Hence no need to do anything about it.

OK, that sounds very good. I think that's the same with Motronic 3.8.3?

Do you happen to know when the Roadrunner will be back in stock at Moates?

Hello,

I'm reopening this post because I'm having a problem with the M3.8.2 of my A4 AEB: I installed a chip purchased on eBay that advertises 193 hp, but I don't get the full power advertised, and I'm getting an error code with VCDS:
16989 - Internal Control Module: ROM Error P0605 - 35-00

What does the ROM error means ? A checksum problem ?

I'm putting my original and stage 1 dumps, if someone can take a look and tell me what they think?

Thank you ;-)

This thread has nothing to do with your problem and double posting asking the same thing? So you bought a tune on ebay and it works like shit gee huge surprise...

Hello

My programmer can't write M28F102 chips.
So i've ordered AT27C1024, and I'll try as soon as they will arrive.
