Yes. Might as well read in boot because you'll need to write in boot.
Argdubs tool to read in boot (Y is Port Number, use Device Manager to check). Open cmd (start, run, cmd) and change directory to me7eeprom folder. Type something like: cd c:\users\yourusername\docs\argdubstool\
then type: me7eeprom --bootmode 95040 -rpY xx.bin
Copy xx.bin from Argdub tool folder to eepromtool folder.
eepromtool to edit. Use CMD and change directory (cd...) to and type: eepromtool --in "xx.bin" --out "xx_immooff.bin" --immo off
Copy xx_immooff.bin from eepromtool folder back to Argdubs tool folder.
Argdubs tool to write back in boot: me7eeprom --bootmode 95040 -wpY xx_immooff.bin

For ME7.1.1 you will probably have to do 95P08. you will have to look at the chip on the back though. 95040 will get you half of the eeprom, which has the immo in it, but still not best practice.

I've got a bit more time to spare over the weekend. I will have a look at the immobilizer delete. I'm assuming here I'm downloading in boot mode with nefmoto software.
Using the argdubs tool I did have a brief look but I will try again and see what happens
