I need some help finding the right "switch" to shut off "sailing mode" in (D).
With original setting "sailing" is disabled only in (S) mode.

I appreciate any help pointing me in the right direction

Can you describe this function? Every binary I've checked so far already has this set to zero OEM. Thanks for sharing your find.

I'm working with the DQ500/381 DAMOS files floating around.
There is one in this "Merry Chrismas package" (thanks _nameless  Smiley)
http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=21358.0title=

I have no FR, I'm only assuming with the DAMOS description.
In my case SGL_ENABLE is set to 3 (bit 0 + 1)

The sailing part has quite a lot of enabling/disabling switches, I'm using these ones as well:

SGL_MIN_V_EIN  1490BA (16bit HiLo) 7x1 'above this speed[km/H] sailing is activated'
SGL_MIN_V  1490C8 (16bit HiLo) 7x1 'below this speed[km/H] active sailing is left'
SGL_MAXIMAL_BIS_V  1490D6 (16bit HiLo) 1x1 'above this speed[km/H] no sailing is allowed'

My question was much more general. I assume "sailing" is the same as "coasting", meaning off throttle, clutches are open?

yes, sailing means 'off throttle', clutches are open (display is showing 'D' without gear position) and engine is idling.

Very annoying not having the used engine braking thrust and wasted shifting(throttle blips) back in gear means additional wear.
In theory should be saving fuel, but not measurable for me.
