ive tried a blue vag kkl, a red obdlink sx and a vagcom hex-net. nefmoto wont recognize any of them and yes the drivers are correct. please help. i need this car back on the road literally last week.

the red obdlink sx is the only one that pops up on nefmoto now. when i plugged it back in the second time it gave me the option to install drivers. but it wont communicate with the ecu. when i click connect it pops up with 'Failed to read test echo from FTDI device' in the status window.

ive redone setup twice now and still nefmoto wont recognize my cable even installed an earlier version of nef moto. still not recognizing my cable.

When using the vcds cable you also need to launch vagcom and put it in dumb mode

i have a hex-net vag com cable so im not able to do that with it. the blue kkl cable i have used to work. i was able to a year or two ago mess with some settings on the cluster. i just cant get anything to recognize the kkl cable at all.

I fixed it. Used vag commander 1.19 and changed com port in device manager and vag commander to com 2 and it worked.
