SW coding is stored in EEPROM, not in FLASH. The ECU accepts coding variations only that the code actually supports. Thats why the ECU rejects coding change from auto to manual on an auto software.

This is impossible.
This ECU software only supports 75 coding and does not support MT configuration.
You need to replace the ECU (or completely reprogram the ECU software).

so what are mine options? its some one capable to reprogram the ecu? i have the eeprom backup too

can i have tried a manual micro sgo from other ecu and it works to code to manual but i get o2 sensor error, so i go back to the oem micro. and need a solution for this issue.

By the way, 055AA file you posted is not original. It is “tuned” but very mediocre.
Among the changes made is the prohibition of diagnostics of the second oxygen sensor.
This may be the cause of errors when downloading the original version of the MT software.
Try this SGO. This is the 5-gear MT soft closest to the hardware version of your ECU.

so i tested your file, and get the same problem i got from another sgo that i get from a database.
btw i have opened a threat aboute this issue here. https://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=22044.msg161549#msg161549

after flash the file i can change the softcode to 000071, all erros from tcu go away, traction control and cruise control work fine.. but i get 3 errors about lambda heater. like i say on my other thread.
here attached is a print from this errors.

so i also dont get a reading from the b1s1 in vcds.. and the heater its always on in the scanner.

i dont thing delete the dts its the solution here because if the ecu its not reading the lamba b1s1 it can be not sending it to ecu too and so i can have a broken engine soon.

so what are the options here?

Take some reasons to account...
1. AT ecu has hardware number 07K906055AA, MT ecu - 07K906055AB. Different hardware numbers may have some differencies in shematic.
2 Don't exist any original MT firmware for playing on 055AA hardware.
3. In original AT firmware first sensor heater diagnose is disabled from factory, but In MT firmware is enabled. Don't ask why VAG done it, but it is fact.

IMHO you don't have another possibility other than made firmware corrections concerning lambda heater like is done in 055AA firmware.

ok now i get it, so or i get a AB hardware, thats hard to find here, or modify the AA one? so who can do this firmware corrections in the ecu for me?
