Attached is a PDF containing flow charts for many of the systems controlled by the ECU. People probably already have this in one form or another, but figured I'd put it up here anyways just in case it might help somebody.

Main difference - M7.1.1 use wide-band O2sensor(s) for lambda control and ME7.1 use narrow-band thresold sensor(s)

The ME7.1.1 in the 2.7t and 4.2 are both narrowband still.
