Hey, I'm from Australia and bought a US ecu as my old one got destroyed.

So I spent a few hours taking all of the wheel guards to finally think we probably dont have this pump in Australia.

Does anyone know how to code it out of the ECU.

1 Fault Found:
17881 - EVAP Leak Detection Pump: Open Circuit
        P1473 - 35-00 - -

I work in computers but have never done any of this before and want to tread carefully.

Any help appreciated.

If you give me the ecu number your car HAD, I can help you. If you don't have it, I can send you a file to try, but it may take a couple attempts to find the right bit.

By that I meant original was a H.

Do you have your original file? I have a 4Z7907551K file, but not an original H.

If you're interested in trying a few variations, I can definitely figure it out (2-3 tries maximum). Only one if you have the stock file. I was needing to determine the LDP bit pairs anyway.

Unfortunately I don't have the original H. I thought I recalled some posts about codeing it out and didn't think it would matter between versions. I would send it to a tuning place, but Australia really has nothing which is disappointing. Are there any in the US you would recommend. I saw posts about VAST editing it out but apparently they are out of business?

I would also like to code out EVAP system - N80 valve and Leak detection Pump on Audi A6 C5 2.7T (APB).
Never been using Nefmoto, but now I have cable and some boost problems according to LDP code in vag.
Could someone help with this issue?

I read that need to zero:
CDLDP
CDTES
CLATEVE
CLALDPE

what about ESKONF

On the 1.8t AWP boxes (032HS, LP, etc) there was no eskonf byte for LDP (that I could find).  I had to just address it by zeroing DTC.

Hello,

I have a similar story.
After manual conversion and a manual software flash ECU says:

17881 - EVAP Leak Detection Pump: Open Circuit
        P1473 - 35-00

on 1.8t AUQ, ME 7.5.
It would be nice if somebody could tell me how to code out leak detection pump or disable DTC.

Thank you in Advance,
