Personally I went with the Innovate system because they allow for calibration, serial data logging, and have a software API.

FYI, Zeitronix also supports calibration:

There is a routine in the software for boost sensor calibration which will zero out the MAP sensor reading (which may be offset due to changes in altitude).

Innovative sounds like a good deal until you look further into the matter. You have to buy VERY expensive modules to extend its functionality.

I have zeitronix and my choice was purely practical.

Zeitronix can easily add more sensors which are very cheap as it already has all the cabling and terminals included in its zt-2 package. So far I have boost and fuel pressure hooked up and able to log in the software.

Additionally it also outputs analog AFR which is exploited by buying podi/whoever gauge and I now display real-time on-dash boost/afr information.



So in my book zeitrnoix is just better especially that it seems to be very accurate anyway, I don't know where they got 0.5 afr deviation. My car with perfect idling shows dead on 14.7 on zeitronix gauge.

More interestingly, if you wanted to cheat factory narrow band sensors you can also have zeitronix do that. Just read the manual and you might change you mind or at least not be so convinced innovate is such good product.

The Innovate outputs 0 to 5v and serial data for the AFR, and it also supports emulating narrow band oxygen sensors. It's AFR conversion factor is configurable if you want to run fuels with a different stoich ratio. I also have my Innovate hooked up to a Podi gauge.

I am running the Innovate on its own, so I can't comment on the cost of additional sensors.

I did some more looking and settled on the Innovate line. I got the AuxBox (LMA-3), LC-1, and XD-16 multi-gauge.

I was seriously considering the Zeitronix gear but accuracy seems lacking. They do offer a very flexible platform, serial logging (they even gave me their spec for the serial protocol), calibration, expansion, etc. But I went with what I think seems to be the more mature and accurate system.

FYI, the best price I could get for a ZT-2,the 3.5 bar MAP sensor, and the ZR-2 guage was $480. I bought all the Innovate gear for $455 shipped. Check out ImportImageRacing. (http://www.importimageracing.com/). Josh is super responsive, helpful with sales and support, and gives killer pricing. Make sure you send him an IM for the best pricing.
