I have an a4 1.8t quattro -00 with manual gearbox. The ECU is a motronic 7.5, 4B0 906 018 CG.
Can I in some way use an original Audi 180bhp file in my ECU. Or maybe copy/transfer the 180bhp specific maps into my 150bhp file?
As I understand, the difference between 1.8t (150bhp) and the 1.8ts (180 bhp) is only the turbocharger itself, the Ts has a k03s and the 1.8t have k03. Or are there more differences that I have missed?
If I can, which years of the TS model should I look for, and what numbers should the TS ecu have?

The only A4 1.8TS 180hp that I'm aware of is the 98-99 model year, which was M3.2...

Strange, I have seen a4 1.8ts quattro -00 -01. Maybe you only find them in Europe.

Looks like a 7.5 ecu. If so, just copy the different tables over....

4B0906018CG is a regular 110kW/150 PS 1.8T, I've done about 15 of them, first one back in 2004.

Yeah, the CG is a 150ps ECU. That's what I got in my car.
What engine codes does the TS models have? What are the hardware differences (engine) between a 150ps 1.8t and the 180ps 1.8ts?

Hi, 1.8T a4, passat, and a6 with 180 hp is motronic M 3.8.2 and engine code is AJL.A4's ME7.5 motronic with 163HP eng. code BFB and 193HP with eng code BEX,but they got 8E0 ecu's.Try to tune your own ecu and with a good job you can see aprox plus 20%-30% hp increase with stock hardware.

Ok, thanks for the info!
Why I asked about using a OEM 180ps file, are because I'm lazy and was curious about an shortcut to a little more "oomph" in my car. And also because I trust more in the OEM "tune" instead of all the stage 1 tunes out there from both tuning company's and self proclaimed expert tuners.
I have read about small tuning company's that copies each others stage 1 tunes etc. And when people look into the files it reveals that the tunes is no good anyway.
Sadly I don't have the knowledge yet to tune my ECU completely from scratch.
So, I can count that it is no good/impossible to use the 8E0 file in my ECU and get it to work fine? Not even try to copy the specific maps?

Are the any other ECU's from the ATW engine code that I can use as spare/backup box for my car? Maybe even from VW Passat?

do the wideband conversion!! that will give you a lot more options when it comes to software versions... just need wideband o2 and vvt delete

Yes, a wideband conversion is one thing I really want to do. I have seen PnP wideband harnesses you can buy.
But what do you mean with a lot more options when it comes to software, can you give me some examples?

Do I really need to do a vvt delete? Can't I just use the vvt solenoid on my awt cylinderhead?
The ecu software must have the vvt function, but I get it when I use the awm ecu, right? Because I think I have read that you need to use an awm ecu together with the wideband lamda harness that you can buy.

vvt would work, awm ecu would be the most common ecu to swap.....but awp aww will work along with some other wideband engine codes ... auto or manual... its all about the file thats loaded to the ecu...the ecu would need to be immo offed... google narrowband to wideband... you dont need to buy a harness you can make it all yourself there is a few how tos
