Hey guys i have recently tried reading my ecu with a clone lead of MPPS v13 But when i read the ecu it all works correctly but when i save the ecu it comes out as a 40kb file when i edit it with notepad comes up with the No read Encrypted bullshit, What i am trying to do is take it off and send it off to a place where they tune your file and send it back tuned then you can write it back on to your ecu but i am having problems can anyone help?

would have thought a no-read tag would still let your map be read from the ECU...just not opened in OLS unless you FF the NO-READ tag in a hex editor.

Later versions adhere to the no read tag and create an encrypted file,  post read.

I had this recently and used minimon to read the flash.

There is a Mpps v12 exe available on the net which allowes you to read noread files and also opens the mpps without cable/dongle attached.
