Well engine is assembled, and I am sliding it back in the car. BDM100 is working, and WinOLS is starting to make sense. So I should be able to test out my first tune based on the information here on nefmoto within a month or so. Depends on how much time I find to get all the systems back into the car with the new baby taking up most of my time.

Then I should be able to start contributing some information back to the forums on 115G tuning. Thank you guys for helping me with the newbe questions as I work up the learning curve.

For those out there that have the older version of WinOLS, I have attached my ols file that has sufficient maps defined for tuning. (I cannot directly attach it because I am limited in the file size, but a link to my google drive is below).

I hope this is helpful for those that need it. It is of a 115G ECU with software version 389075. It is stock except for some changes I started playing with in the LAMF and KFLDRL.

Always be wary of maps that are not 16 bit aligned (start at an odd number).

Is a map in my file wrong? Or are you talking about the automatically identified map in the image that WinOLS identified as a "possible map"?

Just wanted to emphasize DD's post, since there are a ton of Damos/A2L mappacks around that have offset problems.

Looking at the LAMFA, I think the start address should be 1D6D8A instead of 1D6D89.

This is the context of my comment. Nye was just agreeing. It's a helpful hint. MOST maps will be 16bit aligned (even numbers/letters).

Yup, all the maps in that file were not from a mappack (I couldn't find one for WinOLS version 1.72), so I had to find them and add them by myself (so be warned, I am an amateur at this). But I think those few that are in that file are OK. I will see when my car is together and I flash it! Smiley

Will you repost the mapack or did you just update your earlier post?

In case someone wants it, I took the latest 115G kp file, and open each and every map and recorded the address/factor/offset/size/byte-type in a spreadsheet. It is in Open Office format. As soon as I buy a copy of Excel for my Windows box, I will transfer it over (or someone else can).
