I have flashed a 2.8 Passat ecu with mbox Notorious VR stage 2+ file(egt and rear o2s coded out) and put it into my 2001.5 S4 with a slight connector modification. The car runs great. However, I believe those ecus dont have esp support, but I still get no lights on the dash for either esp or abs. So, is it safe to assume that its just the firmware that controls whether your car can run esp or not?

any apb ecu will cross flash and if you use a/m box it also immo offs the ecu because they where not equipped with immo. so no eeprom flashing required. tho the 2.8 ecu will cross flash i dont reccommend doing so the ecu is missing hardware that the s4 ecu has ive tried this in the past and had no boost control. others may have had better luck why? idk but i dont recommend it

If you are in the market for a tune and would like the ease of downloading and flashing a dyno tested tune for a fair price check out https://instatune.sellfy.store/

Hello!
What kind of problems do you have with boost control?

I believe they do not have N75 pwm drivers.

Hello
I have an ECU of RS4 B5 (8D0907551K) lying around and want to use as emulator ECU (OLS300).
I would like to try the A6 2.7 Biturbo (4B0907551M) soon.
It works?

Thanks and regards
