Dont worry about the music, its easy to mute. Focus on the build Wink I an very curious about the sound of the car with rear turbo, maybe you must add a text that says UNMUTE NOW for the music haters  Grin

Its coming along, the exhaust and such im going to be finishing welding and painting today or tomorrow and then i can throw that stuff in for good then its a bunch of lil stuff like finishing the fuel and oil lines and then to get her running and then it will b time to play with the tune. the track opens on the 28th so I'm putting a bunch of time in on her to get ready. Hoping i can figure out the last bit of fittings and such that i need so i can bolt it all up and try to start it next weekend if im lucky.

its been a while but heres an update on where im at Wink

6 Speed is bolted in....mostly.
The only reason the 01e is in is because the tiptronic started slipping at like 16psi and i said f^#k it to that thing and just bought all the remaining parts to get this bi#*h done.
Rebuilt using a full JHM kit

Wiring is getting organized finally and there now wont really b a dash lol

Only downside the the manual tranny is that my intake hits the shift linkage so i guess im removing the passenger seat today and working on running the intake thru the cabin along with the air-to-water intercooler drag car style Tongue It will all b 3" and as straight as i can run it from the turbo. Also it will b a blow thru hitachi maf setup but will b going to the PMAS HPX once i find $200 for it lol

been a while since an update on here, but i got her running with all the new goodies.
absolutely love this switch panel!! ARC 12000

made an intake:

I know the Maf isnt in an ideal space and will be relocated over winter but for now screw it lol
I will be getting this thing on the road and tuning by tomorrow, only got about 1 month left till the track closes this year so its balls to the wall haha

Cool, nice work! Though I would say put the maf sensor right at the firewall, because you would benefit from more stable measurable airflow. What is that panel with all them switches for?  Grin looks cool yeah, like an airplane.
Good to see you are using a L/A intercooler, I'm investigating them too because of my non existent airflow at the IC's in the rear. When using a good sized front mounted radiator, I bet you will see very low intake temperatures!

Good call on ditching that piece of shit tip tranny.... literally the weakest piece of the 2.7t drivetrain, by far.
