Could anyone give me a general idea on how much work it would be to convert the Stage1 1.8t ME7.5 A4 (8E0909518AK-0003) over to 1.8t ME7.5 Passat (4B0906018CM) ?

not enough if you know the basics......tunerpro or winols software,find which maps are modified in 8E0 and transfer them to the 4B0......if you need help ask here on forum,everyone here is very helpful......

You'll need a definition file (.xdf) for your software (4B0906018CM). The definition file needs to have the same maps in it that the community file used. Alternately you may be able to cross flash your ecu with another bin file which already has a good definition file to match. I'm not sure which file would work on yours myself,  but someone else might know.

I've ported it to a CH bin, it's far from complete but it's a start. I used this bin (SW 360101) as a base.  I can post it if you want, but be aware that it'll still need a good amount of fine tuning. The only difference I've found so far between the AK and CH is ZKLAMFAW is a map in AK and a single variable in CH.

Here it is, I tried to remove all the changes I made specifically for my car like emissions deletes and stuff but I might not have gotten it all. Again check it over before you flash.

Would you be able to post the one with your changes?  Also, do you know or would you be able to list the changes you made?  I don't have a CAT so far but I may be removing additional items as well.

Everything I did can be easily found on these forums, I'm going off memory right now but I believe it was: cat, sai, a few canbus-related DTCs removed, and dwell times changed for TFSI coils. Just make the changes yourself, it's not hard at all. If you can't do that then you shouldn't be messing with your the bin yourself anyway.

I know this is a hijack, but similar theory.

My Bin is 4B0906018AC 0003 400BB
Are you saying that I can load the stock 018CH bin on there and that would be a good start because the ols/kp is well defined for that one?

I wasn't sure if DDilinger meant that the 518AK file will port to the 018CH, or whether his CM will port to CH.
