Why would there be gain from change? Don't say there is not because there is.

why dont you make a maf log of stock and a maf log of "tuned" to prove the engine is flowing more air?
i agree with everyone else. without any other changes, you arent making any more power.

Ok will do, but one problem I don't have the 3.0slow on hand. Can i try doing this to my 1.8t to prove this or does it have to be 3.0?

NA vs FI. Big difference. Look, you only have 3 parameters. Boost, timing, fuel. If you can't change boost (N/A) you are changing timing or fuel.. Altering IOP/IRL shouldn't change timing unless there is torque intervention.

So i can't compare until I get the car, well that might take a while. I will prove to you that there can be power gain from kfmiop and kfmirl from a N/A car mark my word! Back on the question of tuning a file that you can't compare a defined bin to. What is in your mind the easiest way to define an undefined car?

Camshaft overlap, intake runner activation, and torque request should be added to that list.

By torque request you mean throttle plate angle?

Well, specifically KFPED. IMO, dicking with IRL is just backwards here.

Well, specifically KFPED.
KFPED can limit torque in only two ways: throttle plate angle, torque intervention (that is to say, timing). Suggesting that you need only open the throttle plate to 100% to get more HP out of a NA motor is ... I can't even find an adjective for it.

I wasn't saying you'll get more peak power ![Tongue](http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Simply stating that you can change the characteristics of the car by altering it. Tuning isn't JUST about peak numbers after all. It's about enhancing the driving experience.

I was messing with the torque map to see if gain occurred which torque makes horse power
