Hi everybody, I have a problem with one of my car. I know that I am new here, I come from a friend forum. Here is my matter, I am trying to disable boost pressure control because I have a turbo wich is mechanically WG controlled. After a lot of read and search I've found many clue. I've found how to denote that pressure sensor is off but I think that will make the car run limp mode (as actually because of over pressure). I've rise all boost map up to 2300 mbar (as the turbo provide 1.2 boost peak), it does not change anything. I've read In the FR how to disable a part of the PID but I don't know if it will be enough.
DO some of you have ever face this issue? I am going right or totally wrong?
PS: engine is 1.6 hdi PSA. And ECU is EDC16C34

The stock turbo is connected vi aN75 and the other one on the car (we have swap the turbocharger) is the turbocharger from 2.0 hdi 90 hp. And he have a WG with spring (and we have to mechanically modify the boost pressure). As there is no possibility to mount the N75 on the turbo I would like to tell the ecu that he is not controlling the boost as some EDC15c2 used to do on old hdi engine.

Of course you can connect it. Or how do you think it is connected on 99% gasoline cars?

It can be 100% connected and controlled via n75. How much HP this car had original ? Original turbo was VNT or with wastegate ?

The original car have 90hp and the original turbo was a wasgated one. Indeed I would like the ECU to work similar as 1.4 hdi one (this is the same ECU) and the turbo is not controlled by ECU.

So I think that we cannont connect N75 on it because WG is control by spring . So Each time car run too long without being able to correct pressure, car go in limp mode. So I have 2 solution: - I disable the DTC and hope that if he don't happen car don't go limp. -I am currently trying to make the car run in open loop for ever (I Rise UP the threshold for PID activation). IMHO if PID don't manage N75 I won't get anymore this error. I have seek for lots of information and it seem's like I've found all I need on EDC16C34 PID. I will Try it tomorrow. Because I'm tired of this limp mod in 4/5 gear..
Best Regards AngelPowy

So fab or source a pressure actuator..

you mean on a turbo like kp35 (mount on 1.4 hdi) it's possible to connect it to a n75?

Dear Mr. Caveman, why dont you just add a carburettor to your stone-age turbo, this might solve your problems
