Got chance to get a log today of my car (1.8T with k04-064)  and flashed one of my maps on I made up which I thought should have it at a mid level of power.

The load isnt following specified which I have flatlined at 180  in LDRXN.  Engine load requested and corrected are well below what ive set it at.

Log is attached.  I can see its pulling 8.25CF which is a LOT i know, but ive put this down to the standard timing tables for a k04-023.

Any pointers?  Just want to get it running safely before I take it for proper mapping in april.

Looks like my axis might be set a touch too high in KFLDIMX?

Thanks

Chris

Using ignition maps from a K04-023 engine isnĀ“t exactly ideal as the two engines have different compression.
Restore the maps from your original SW and tune them by hand.

Stop trying to make actual load match req load, that isn't your goal, and it isn't something the ECU is trying to do either.

Latest file

Feels pretty epic on the road...just need to sort that midrange boost out and chuck some timing at it.

no throttle cut here!

What was your intention behind your KFLDRD?
Which injectors are you running?

log should look like the attached one
(same setup with ldrx 180 too)

Already mentioned to you but a linear KFLDRL will let the boost I set in KFLDIMX follow exactly that map, instead of DRL stepping inbetween the WG duty before linearisation and after it.  See picture below.

The FKKVS values are off my k03s tune where I logged over 30minutes/20miles or so to get a good scope of data to work off.   Needs doing with this 064 turbo, but will let the tuner sort that out when its in for mapping first weeks of April.
