Hi guys just adding my 2p where i can,
started off using an old win xp laptop whcih became annoying and some/most probably already know this but the 2.2 version i had already downloaded supposed to work on win8 64bit.
Anyway i couldn't find a straight forward guide on how to it, but now i know and it is pretty straight forward.
i won't post the files here as there already available and not sure if i'd get kicked for doing so but here goes.
You need to find version 2.14testversion first (I found it in a rar file containing two files method1 and method2)
you must install the test version in "program files" not program files (x86)
then you install version 2.2 full again in the same location (some installers don't let you pick -it should work if you drag and drop to the right place after)
then copy the addtional files into C:\program files\EVC and create a shortcut on desktop
if you get an error about incomplete installation remove all and start again
i got this error on my Win8 x64 install and then realised it was because i hadn't installed version 2.14 test into c:\program files (not x86) first.
