I am trying to connect my K tag to my 7.1.1 ECU for a boot flash. I am not sure where to connect the grey "boot" and grey "CNF1" to the ECU board.

In this link, the bottom picture matches my ECU. am I supposed to use those circled in the picture, and if so, which one is which??

All I am trying to do here is delete the immobilizer.

If anybody could help me, I would so much appreciate it. I have had my ECU sitting on my BDM table for days now waiting and researching to no avail. My K tag software states to hook the wires up a certain way, but the ecu in the pictures is not exactly what I have. The picture is wrong. Sad

Stickies can be good but a few of them should really have their subject title edited to be more generic.

The galletto tool is free and works with just about every ftdi cable.
