car is a ME7.5 2001 1.8tqm big turbo. 4B0906018CH 1000cc EV14 single tips with HPX blow through in a 60MM ID tube and is located ~12 inches from the throttle body.

since its been getting colder, on cold starts the car will barely run without the pedal. It will misfire and shake the whole car and the AFR guage reads --- (lean). If you can keep it running long enough for lambda regulation to turn on it will run and add 25% fuel. So the car also has a code for system too lean as well. KFFWL has been increased 25% at cold temps and no change.

krkte is .034118
mlhfm is set according to the 512point xfer sheet from HPX, 1640kg/hr at 5V
MLOFS is 0

i timed a peak and hold flow test on the injectors and they flow ~175ML/10sec so right about 1000cc/min.

I have not touched kfkhfm or fkkvs yet. Got boost control set for the wastegates then honestly got frustrated with this problem and just drove it lol. I feel like its something dumb I'm looking over, be it software or hardware.

Could try kfmresk etc?

Don't think so. I think it is hardware related, as in fuel injectors or MAF.

Added 25% to KFKHFM in <30% rl and <1200RPM and car runs best it's ever had after sitting for a few hours. I think I'm gonna have to log and populate KFKHFM/FKKVS. But still, +25% of KFKHFM doesn't seem right to me. I guess being so close to the throttle body could have an effect.

Only when LR is off. Once it goes closed loop the idle is normal.

Raising the idle will until warm will not help the problem that's causing it. With the MAF unplugged it runs much better, so it seems I answered my own problem by modifying KFKHFM. Just seemed to me that having values of 1.25+ in KFKHFM is wrong. And I'm not quick to change MAF scaling because it is calculated from the HPX supplied spreadsheet.

HPX scaling is not great.

OK to scale entire curve +25%? Multiplicative LTFT say +25%.

I never really thought scaling the whole curve a percentage was the right way to do it. Less airflow down low, more airflow up high is my thinking. But I guess since it starts at 0 and no offset it can't be terrible.

FWIW, my ps_w is slightly below sensor pressure.

I was assuming the MAF was setup correct and thought that raising idc at cold start might help.

I have found HPX scaling to result in approximately 30 percent underscale.

I usually just leave it.

Is fueling GOOD when it's warm?

When LR is on he said a few posts above, it idles fine, that's why I suggested the idle by temp map.   To me LR is swinging zwout to maintain it and and injection time, that was just a very quick observation of the logs though on a phone.

Actually it drops below minimum pw too when LR kicks in.

Not as good as scaling MLHFM 25%. LTFTs are within 4% now. Car behaves much better.

It was +25% before, obviously with system too lean code.
