« on: February 01, 2016, 03:04:37 PM »
Bought this cable
http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-cable-for-Triumph-Motorcycles-TuneECU/251088284958?_trksid=p2050601.m2372&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D17614%26meid%3D1842665441241050464%26pid%3D100085%26prg%3D8172%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D170797175486%26%26clkid%3D1842666457672311890&_qi=RTM1562570
Downloaded the most recent drivers from
http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/D2XX.htm
, is there some other drivers im missing?
When i try to connect to VCDS with my cable it says the interface isnt found
I figure i better figure this out before i even try any of the other programs ;(

Long shot but have you tried going into the options section and selecting USB, rather than any of the COM options and then test interface?

You cannot use genuine VCDS (ESPECIALLY the most recent up to date version) with anything other than a genuine cable.

Try this,
just extract to desktop or C:\ and just run loader, check USB connection and should be ok.
