06 A6 4.2 is a ME7, what does EDC17 have to do with it?

Well that's what I am kinda getting at.. I can not access the ecu using VCDS Lite or Nefmoto... I can access it using my matco tablet and some other software.

Hello,

Could someone please provide me with the electrical diagram of the lambda harness to ECU for these VINs?

I'm trying to understand the issue with my wideband conversion, and I need to modify the harness I have because it's a US model and according to the seller, US models are not wired like EU models.

Narrowband: WVWZZZ1JZ1W220173
Wideband: WVWZZZ1JZ1W320820

Hi all, my friend have a 2011 Caddy Ecofuel with 2.0 BSX CNG engine. Its stock 5spd gearbox had been swapped to 6spd GQN gearbox from 1.9tdi. So gear indicator on the dashboard is off and cruise control doesnt work.

I have found damos for old sw version, found NVQUOT maps and make two files: first with simple 4 and 5 gears mod for values of 5 and 6 from original EDC16, second file with addition 6 spd instead of zero.

But nothing: the gear indicator only flashing for a couple second and off. With second file 6th gear indicator began to appear. Cruise doesnt work.

We simple measured the gear ratios and they approximately coincide with the average values of the ranges from the EDC16.
So unfortunately I dont understand where is mistake. Can somebody advise please?

Caddy ecu is 06G906022S Me7.1.1, gearbox donor is 03g906021KC EDC16.
In the EDC there are reversed gear ratios named Gearbx_rVn from 1D4D2E address

Did you manage to get the CC working in 6th gear? I have the same Me 7.1.1 with 06G906022S and I did the same gearbox swap. From 5 to 6 and no CC. Do you still have the flash ? Or somebody can modify my flash please? I can't find anybody in my country to modify it. I attached my flash .

CC works in 6th now. Thank you!

Can you help me please?

Hi to all,

I read my ME731 ecu and saved eeprom file with ME7_95040 tool. I attached original eeprom .bin file i read. I want to virginate my ECU.
I follow Alfa Romeo ME7.3.1 virgin pdf but my 0058h and 0068h are different from each other. Even 005Eh and 006Eh are different from each other. But in the pdf the bits look the same.

Best regards

...too much stuff to read and too little time.

Hi PRJ

There is no hurry. I would be happy if you could check my calculation method as soon as you have time. I would like to know whether I have understood the basics correctly.

Played around with WinOLS some more and it's showing "100+"potential maps" which looks promising; I just need to figure out what they correspond to so I can create and XDF in TunerPro.

If I remember correctly, if you search this forum well, you will find a ready-made full xdf and Samos for 1.8t.
Upload your original bin and if you still need it - I will look for something in my collections.
