Your ecu has a 95040 eeprom to start, that would be the ID issue.

I tried that as well and it did not work

Hex and dam files. Load into winols and when you export the mod file it will be the correct size.

It's only free because someone else did this for you.
And it's super simple because there's 51 addresses. Compared to my def that has 5272.

And I pass down that to the next guy
I been getting into Ida n other shit myself,  and having fun with this
Do you guys understand fun?
That's why I do this
For fun

I have a 2002 1.8T ECU ME7.5. I put it into bootmode and when i try to read the eeprom using the ME7 EEPROM tool i am getting this error.

Command: ME7EEPROM_st10 --bootmode 95080 -r -p3 --CSpin P4.7 dump.bin

Code:
ME7_EEPROM v1.40
COM: 3, Baud Rate: 10400
Memory type: 95040, size: 512
Chip Select pin: P4.1
Opening COM3 ... OK
Starting Boot_mode ... uC ID response 0xFF. Unknown ID. (error=0x40201)
Closing COM3

I know that some ME7.1.1 ECU's can only be cloned. Map data or eprom information is not able to be transferred over alone. It needs the corresponding dataset files(all 3, eeprom, mpc, flash) from the original ECU. Does anyone know what parts of these files need to match?

ya'll are fucking retarded trying to loop this kid into  your own paid platforms and otherwise

throwing him on that "if you don't already know then you shouldn't know" spiel ya'll did to me.
what hes asking is free and super simple....

For 4 PINS (Narrowband) to 6 PINS (Wideband) conversion:

ECU -> 51    -> 4 PINS -> 3 -> 6 PINS -> 5
ECU -> 70    -> 4 PINS -> 4 -> 6 PINS -> 1
ECU -> 5    -> 4 PINS -> 2 -> 6 PINS -> 4
+12      -> 4 PINS -> 1 -> 6 PINS -> 3

ECU -> 52 -> 6 PINS -> 6
ECU -> 71 -> 6 PINS -> 2
