What were you trying to flash, if you don't know what you're doing?  If you're really that new, the only thing you should be doing is reading the ECU, no writing.

Take the cluster out of the car. Get the part number from the label and post it.
Someone will get you a stock file but then you have to adapt the cluster to the keys and ecu.
Pics just loaded to post.
Thanks

I took a quick look and cant find your exact part number, I have a lot of KM clusters but not many Miles ones.

I found this which is the closest I can see around.
Give it a try, cant be worse then where you are now.

BEFORE YOU FLASH THE CLUSTER>>>>
-Make a backup read of where you are now and post what comes out..
-Do not flash it until you can successfully read the cluster and post it here for us to look at.

I am still thinking you did not flash the cluster in the first place.

On second thought I'm not even going to post the file until you post a read of what is currently on the cluster.

Ok will do. I was trying to read it the other day and couldn't tie into it. Any suggestions?  I'm using vag-k commander 2.5.

This should be close enough to adapt
You can't brick the cluster it will always accept new eeprom write. Even if the checksums are bad you can log into cluster with vcds and recalc checksums by selecting "do it" under recode and it will up cks
EEPROM PIN = 05004

Don't flash that file until you successfully read the old file.
And post it here.
