The learning curve is very steep. There is literally no way somebody could write a concise noob guide to disassembly AND patching code.

Most noobs can barely handle modifying maps, let alone making a map pack, let alone writing custom ASM.

Do not just blindly run the launch.php script. Do the work. There is no one size fits all LC/NLS solution.

You can use it as a reference to see what sorts of ASM changes are needed, but just running it and expecting it to always work is not realistic.

If you do not have a working knowledge of both ME7 and assembly, you should not be running the script, period.

If you don't know what a php script is, or how to run one, you definitely should not be running the script.

Main thread here:
http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=607.0title=

It has been locked because the only people who post to the thread are asking for someone else to just add LC/NLS to their binaries; they have zero interest in doing any real work or contributing usefully to the thread.

If you have actual technical information to contribute, PM me and I will unlock it.

Where are the resources for learning the addition of 2step lc?

Do you have details in this post about your car / ecu / rom ?

There are great writeups from nyet on the s4wiki... but you have to at least have the rom apart before you can start changing values.

Do you have any experience writing assembly code? Do you have any experience disassembling binary? It is insane to expect to be able to do this if you don't even have basic ECU mapping experience.

I’ve never walked in cake... but it doesn’t sound easy or enjoyable.

You wont get readily made finals maps and codes unless you pay someone. Me7log itself is a cmd program , you need a gui for it.

Donwload visual me7 logger from logging section.

I couldn't get me7logger working on my AMK S3,  but it worked perfectly on my BAM TT - something to do with k-line not routed directly to the port causing issues.

if you look at s4wiki it shows some of these mapping toys, but it can break your car unless you have suitable hardware,  eg turbo, valves, rods, cat, maf, coils, plugs may get damaged
