Hi there, I would to run my BAM with 064 in MAFless setup but according to this topic, such settings don't work properly. http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=12708.0With CLALM set 1 I have blinking checkengine. With CLALM set 0 no check but also no TCS. Everything else done like in tutorial above. What I do wrong?

So anyone could help me with my map? Or give the adresses and proper sets to have working TCS in such soft?

What I do wrong? Run alpha-N emergency load calculation in place of a main one. If you want proper ECU functioning - pay someone to do a speed-density patch for you.

Hello, I was reviewing your file and found it interesting What configuration do you use other than k04-064? injectors? How does your cupraR move with that configuration?

Why? Run an inlet like on the TFSI and use a MAF. The 064 inlet is on top, literally a 90* bend and put a MAF on it. Loads of space.

I would to do this alone - this is why I'm asking here Any tutorials how to do it right? Adam-: Space is not a problem here. Probably with my bad luck - second MAF has screwed up. First one has readed 260gram, second for a while was good (210-220gram) but went to 185....with every bad results different then 21x gram I feel that car is more lazy and doesn't pull so strong (dynoed 337PS/405Nm with proper MAF). I want to tune it without MAF interference to have one stable setup without thinking "interesting does my MAF is now ok or not" jjuuaannk - car with goodworking MAF is for me an ultimate streetcar Runs really well and 'wakes up' earlier then with 023.

Vibration? I've got an 064 and only killed 1 in three years because it fell off. No issues.

Any ideas...this one which was showing 260gram was from my old 023 setup and probably already in 023 wasn't working perfectly. Second one from Bosch-exchange was living 2 weeks..maybe an incident. But I would like to not have any such incidents more All welding and install solutions are made analog few other setups from this tuner so I don't think so that this is a case why MAFs are dead. So: anyone could help me?

Speed-density conversion is quite involved and requires assembly patches to the ECU code. If any of those words sounds unfamiliar to you - you won't be able to do it yourself, unfortunately.
A healthy alternative is fitting another proper MAF (not a Chinese knock-off, but a new original) and properly calibrating it.
Again, just making the ecu run Alpha-N will accomplish nothing, unless it's a "WOT-only" dragster. Part-throttle load calculation will be very wonky.

I have no idea why you think alpha-n is better than making sure you have a working MAF.

Agreed, from what I know, the only reason to be running a speed density setup is if you have a massive HP car (i.e. over 600 HP). Why have you eliminated the MAF?

I don't really have a problem with speed density, but that is impossible to do on ME7 without a ton of work. Problem is, noobs seem to consistently confuse alpha-n with speed density :/

It's not a ton of work once you've written the code and tested it. Well yes, it's a ton of work until then. You need to modify main load calc, and also you need stuff like a digital filter on the MAP signal to prevent your load becoming a sawtooth and ESUK going bonkers.
