This isn't related to the "RequestUpload disabled" stuff is it? Even if not, how to you reverse that? Someone has to know what tuners change in order to block reading the ecu.

1602 is terminal 30 power supply too low. Not really relevant here, should be able to clear it and have it not come back. Looks like you're starting from scratch. I wouldn't anticipate porting the tune over either, the maps aren't in the right places.

Weird. Kind of a shame I'll just have to throw it away. I don't think I know enough or have the patience to tune from scratch. I'll probably end up dumping cash into EPL or JFonz pocket. Thanks for the help though

why don't you try to flash a stock file to your car just to see what happens with getting the engine started and whatnot.

I have the original vast tuned ecu which starts the car fine and is my DD. I do all my experimenting on a spare ecu.

Did you clone the EEprom to the spare ECU too?

Yea, it's locked to the EEPROM. Simple as that.

Thanks for the heads up phila_dot
Read the eeprom from the vast ecu and wrote it to my spare, then flashed the original vast bin and the car works. So I have successfully cloned my vast ecu. How do I go about fixing the emissions its seems whatever I do to the vast bin jacks it up and the ecu goes wonky and becomes hard to connect to, similar to bad checksums.
Did you actually get the maf scaled, send me the bin. I'd still like to have a base tune I can play with even if I get the Vast tune fixed.

Here's the vast eeprom I just pulled through OBD, just for records sake.
This is what I've been trying to tell you.

Thanks for the heads up on the EEPROM, now how do I go about getting the emissions fixed. Whenever I do anything it seems to jack up the bin.

Have you tried the file I posted with the eeprom cloned? If it works, you can edit from there.
