Won't Connect with rosstech cable

Hi I am trying to connect i have tried all the settings and either it wont recognise the cable or it comes back with these readouts not sure what is wrong it looks like it connects then drops out? it won't let me read anything?
Validated FTDI device is in dumb mode.

What are you trying to do? Read or write?
The older me5.9.2 cars can't be read via obd, just flashed.

By settings you mean "Dumb Mode"?
Also, if what above is not applicable, you may also have to use downgraded drivers for your VCDS cable. At least thats what I had to do.
