Need a definition file for 4D0907560AF, or a bin/xdf that would be compatible. This is a 2001 A8L 4.2L AUX Tip. Trying to help a friend code out SAI and precats.

Have you read the file? Looked yourself? Before asking for help you should put some effort in. Barring that, how about following the rules? "All definition requests must be accompanied by an original file" I'm going to be watching you from now on. You've been here long enough to know better. *edit* I had posted the addresses here, but I think that sets a bad precedence. You're going to need to put forth just as much effort as you expect others to.

I did read the ECU, and I did search. Sorry I forgot the file.

I found references to your 559E XDF, which I was hoping might work... but it appears to be posted in a forum that no longer exists and I can't find a link to it.

Here ya go. You might also check my 560CE XDF as well, the map addresses don't directly match, but will help find most of what you're looking for.

I don't see these defined in any of these XDFs. If someone could help me find these I'd be very grateful. Just trying to help my friend get his car back on the road...

Not sure what else I can do to find these. I have been unable to find a similar BIN with these variables defined. And the car is not legally drive-able right now, so can't do any logging on it. Really just trying to help my buddy who is in a jam. I've already spent two days on this and can't afford to put much more time into it. If no one is willing to help me out, I'll have to tell him he's SOL.

Daz holding out on info? That honestly doesn't sound like something he would do...On a side note, I've been looking for a solution on these locations too for quite a bit, with no luck. I may re-visit this mission soon, though, and if I figure it out, I'll post back in here.

Hang tight, I may be onto something... AHKAT stuff seems to be near where I original thought they were on my 560CE ROM, but it's in a different order than the V6 junk.

The issue here is that there's a fine line between helping someone, and just spoonfeeding them answers, especially when all the required info is not provided. I understand you posted your original file elsewhere, but there is a sticky at the top of this forum for a reason.
I don't have AHKAT located in these files.

These have a strong chance of being wrong, but I have a good feeling on them, I can cross reference the markers on a 4D0* RS6 ECU and also on my 560CE ROM... So hopefully!

Edit: Check across a few files, the values are within what I would expect them to be, so I do think those are correct. But as usual, adjust at your own risk!

Thank you both, I'll give these a shot. If it doesn't work, I think I have enough to code out rear-O2 completely.
daz - I'm sorry you feel like you're spoon-feeding. ECU work is a loose hobby for me that I only picked up to fix my allroad. I've been very busy between my full-time job, my other clients, and the lawsuit for the guy who t-boned my jetta wagon a year ago and wrecked my shoulder, requiring surgery. I haven't had time to really dig in further. A friend is in a jam and I was just trying to help. Again, did not mean to offend you.

Don't you still have to adjust AHKAT* stuff even when disabling rear O2 control and circuit diag?
