Merged with master NLS/LC thread.

Ditch NLS/LC unless you are able to do the ASM patches yourself, from scratch.

Very well, i am interested in doing so myself. I don't understand why such a script is "popular" when many people discourage you from using it.

Nevertheless where would one start on doing manual patches?

Is it as simple as just blindly following this thread
http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=607.0title=
and adding the exact same changes or is there more to it if so would you have any sources where i can learn more about it

Because the demographic that desperately wants NLS/LC for free generally isn't smart enough to listen. I don't know how on earth you suggest me changing that.

The first page of this thread has links to what you are looking for. Be advised, it isn't easy to get right.

I guess not, but it did seem like an excellent easy solution. Will definitely read into the subject more, thanks for the link.

Hi,
I really would like to have a launch cortrol in my 2.8 VR, but I have problems to find some maps. The locations I have tried didn't work since it never revs higher than the lower RPM limit. I attached my .ols file, maybe it could help you finding the missing maps.
I would be very thankful if someone could help me.

I can't find:
ITNMXH
TNMXH
FTOMIN
ESKONF

I used it and I got the script working but I would still like to find these maps. ESKONF for example could be very interresting for other things like sai or rear o2 sensor delete. ITNMXH and TNMXH are also pretty important for me to implement soft limiter launch control. Would be great if someone could help me.

Not sure if the one I used here is the same revision as your file, but your ESKONF will be around that area;
