QHHJ and QKHJ have the same HFM maps - the same values
Btw. Why do you want to adjust KISRM?

As you can see in the attached pics, my values are not the the same.
If I apply the offset, and factor in 0.1, then it matches.

Regarding kisrm, it's not something I'm trying to change currently, I'm researching the 5120 hack and it's one of a few things I don't fully understand, other than how to calculate it, and it being used in the ps_w calculations.

Comparing other stock/5120bins, I can see kisrm is adjusted, i don't know enough about it to say it's a necessary change yet, but the qhhj xdf im using hasn't even got it, so I can't adjust it even if I wanted to.

I guess you must have wrong address for HFM.
QKHJ is rare sw as it was later update. You can just use QHHJ.

KISRM in QHHJ is at 0x284BE, word.
Divide by half for 5120hack.

I found another xdf which has correct mlhfm, so that's sorted.
Although i can't really do much with it on the demo, can you confirm if this looks correct for kisrm?
So I'd now just divide by 2?

Feels like flashing qkhj and disabling the evap leak detection might be simpler, as i have no way of updating an xdf.
Unless anyone has a decent qhhj xdf, or one that the maps required.

Cheers for your help anyhow

not in the states, 50QKHJ is the only software we use on 04 R and the later 04 2.5t cars with pem and fps Wink
if he needs a 5120 hack for qkhj i have in full

Hi! I have a manual Volvo S60 MY01 with a B5244T3. The firmware i pulled with OpenMoose (Thank You BTW!) was 20FMFP. The engine is stock, Stock injectors (Bosch Browns), turbo is mostly stock (DO88 silicone pipes and a aftermarket wastegate with a 10psi spring).

From what i have learned the 20FMFP software is well... old. All i want to do is to completely delete the boost limits and raise the rpm limiter. id like to run a manual boost controller. i was wondering if it would be easier to switch over to 20FWHJ. Can someone help me out???

I don't want to offend you but all you said from "aftermarket 10psi spring" and on means you don't know what are you doing.
Let me comment it just to let other people no to do the same "mistakes".
10psi spring is way to hard for stock turbo. You loose all boost control with it. Turbo will do almost full boost all the time.
Even if you have proper WG spring like 5psi at most then you can't just replace stock boost controller with MBC because ECU will try to keep tuned boost/load/flow level and you will get torque interventions/limp-home modes.
Not to mention with 10psi spring any boost controller would sit doing nothing Smiley
And what do you mean 20FMFP is "old"?
You will gain nothing switching to "newer" software. Changes are very minor between sw. updates.
And if you so much want "newer" software why do you want to mess it up "completly deleting boost limits"? Why do you want newer software just to make it piece of useless crap then... that is the most interesting part in your comment for me actually Smiley

Well. The 20FMFP is from 1999 thus old. Also the 10psi WG Spring holds about 8-10psi on my setup reported by a Turbosmart boost gauge. The boost control valve is a pierburg valve and it is a month old. I also got the do88 intercooler silicones installed now so i guess it helps lower the boost. more power on less boost because it has less restriction right. The main reason id like to change to the newer 20FWHJ software is the reason that it has a definition file available, unlike the 20FMFP. I did try to find the maps for the 20FMFP myself but its hard. I used the 20FWHJ definition file for reference and noticed that the boost maps etc are pretty close to each other. I will drop the .XDF file so someone better than me can check it and try to make sense of it. I did flash a 20FMFP based file on the volvo with openmoose renatus 9. didn't start so i reverted back to the original file. where do i go from this? do i just try a 20FWHJ based file and tune it. or do i try to make a better definition file for the 20FMFP and try to make it work.

i dont necessarily need to delete the boost limiters. i just hate how volvo deals with the boost problem. basically when it sees over 10psi it stops all the boost. i want it to make more boost, more rpms and more power.
