Yeah these are from Bosch Motorsports. 0280155968.

So those are stock P2 R cars injectors.
Don't "reinvent the wheel" just use Volvo R data for TVUB

As for KRKTE - No need for any fancy KRKTE "calculators" but whatever Wink
For 2.4engine with stock "browns" (0280155831) upgraded to greens KRKTE is 0,07111.

I would suggest to keep proper values in the tune and fix the car not other way around Smiley
But sometimes its probably easier to fix/hide mechanical issues with the tune Smiley

Your fuel pump will make negligible difference to your fuel trims unless it is pushing through the fpr.  You can also get a get an adjustable fpr on some of the older cars not sure if yours fits this bill. But I would ensure your tvub and krkte matches your injectors and fuel pressure because this will tremendously effect the trims.  Also don’t forget this pressure is plus atmospheric pressure when reading the injectors data

Well there's actually a very big change a higher capacity pump will raise the idle fuel pressure by alot because the fuel pressure regulator cant return enough fuel then wilst theres almost no fuel injected, if so that will get better under higher loads when more fuel is injected and thus less return capacity is needed from the fpr.

Usually I never have to adjust tvub from what is found in the datasheet with injectors as long as the injectors are decent. Some come with universal sheets and these need to be thrown away. 


Also if you have greens some greens aren’t the same as a standard Volvo green.  I remember seeing this in the past from Daniel

Yeah there different one's available and theres a shitload of really bad knock offs on the market which are absolutely shit.

Well as for flashing my first file it was succesfull now @dannyhadon helped me out with defining some maps on winols for my specific firmware version. So many thanks for that Danny. But now im struggling with getting the logging to work so i can further optimise my tune. So does anybody have some tips to get the logging to work?

These are genuine Bosch.

I took the car for a long drive, highways etc and everything was spot on. LTFT was between 0 and +.79 and stfts where hoving around 0 and +4% and -4 % and sometimes up to around +12 on WOT
AFR goes to 12.5 as soon as I go WOT, idles at 14.1to14.7 but while cruising above 80 sits at 13.7 so have to look at the maps and see what ive done there.
so overall pretty good.  Boost has settled on 14.5psi instead of around 16-18 so being a larger turbo producing similar power to old 13G with higher boost im happy with that. Ill look at changing the spring to a 4psi one and see if that brings the TCV duty cycle down a bit from 95

All it was was the exhaust bolts needed retorquing as its brand new turbo and Japanifold, and has had a few heat cycles.

The burble only happens during idle. Im just going to put the settings for that back to stock as dont think its really be possible on a Auto.
Car rarely goes over 100c now hovers between 89 to 99c. EGTS max ive seen so far is around 870c thats a WOT pull to 110. hovers around 520c on highway and idling around 380c.

When tuning injectors did you modify nolra?  Or log instantly after a flash so your ltft are not active?

Changed Norla to 7 logged then ran FKKVS fixer then updated, then ran another log, updated etc did it 3 times. Then changed back to Norla 4.

This is a log before tightening up studs  bit of country cruising up hill, 80k downhill etc.

Its 12.5 on WOT  on the Wideband Gauge its instant as soon as go wot before it would be delayed on original tunes.
I dont want to post my tune as its got apsects of both Hilton and Customised tune by BSR and cost me $$$$$ lol

Just a note: I had a good look at the new downpipe this morning and the pipe completly broke of the flex joint which would explain everything. Bit hard to tune things right when ya downpipe is broken.. Kinda pissed, but least I know.
Second time its happend reason why went larger turbo. Always happens at the flex joint so thinking may just have to bite the bullet and get a JT or Ferrita downppe or something as really hard to find one here and Magna flow im pretty sure are only 2.5" and dual cat so prob restrictrive.  BSR Downpipe is $2200 here! up 1 K since last time  i looked because of shipping costs.

While I find and wait for a new Down pipe. Ill look into map switching.

There is nothing to keep secret believe me:)
Don't want to make an unnecessary fuss but i have a few Hilton tunes and he do a lot of weird things like unnecessary FFing limiters/guard or switching off DTC's reduntantly (like he didn't know exactly what and where triggers particular DTC so he just delete/00 it all everywhere xD). Similar patterns in BSR/Heico tunes.

Yeah im going over everything.I can see some things in the BSR tune that are for effeciency but also for 98 fuel.

I dont have def for parts of the tune that Hilton modified so not sure what he did. Torque limitor delete but the car is a lot funner to drive now.

Im slowly going over everything. Main thing is not to let it run hot, split the liners or cook the valves. Just ordered a downpipe from Vast as looked prett good with vband conections, was going to order the larger maff housing and adjust but thought that can wait or not sure if really needed.
Did work out how to scale the maf pretty easily so the option is there for me.

You are one the wrong way.

HCAN is referenced via indirect addressing in application layer.

The unknown chip is external watchdog/external safety layer.

Just because you can load a bin in IDA doesn't mean you get full understanding what's going on Wink

Well, since I do forgive but do not forget. With some slight adjustments from rkam

CAN id = id = (a << 21) | ((((b & 0xE0) << 13))) | ((b & 0x7) << 15) | (((c) & 0xFF) << 7) | (d & 0xFE) >> 1 . This decodes the CAN ids from an ETM signal configuration. The CAN ids are most likely(will have to verify as there were differences between the facelift and pre-facelift years) a serialized representation of an architecture-dependent CAN msg buffer depending on the MCU used. As such a similar approach may yields the CAN ids in all other modules. (BCM, ICM, ECM, UEM, CEM etc). This includes all the bits such as RTR, SRR etc.

I think I've proven more than once that I know a bit more than loading a bin in IDA Wink But it was such posts that only fueled my desire.
