What do you mean by "neutral limiter"? What rpm do you hit, at which gear level position?

The 4000RPM limiter in N and P, I can adjust that easily enough by changing 0x01B5AE and 0x01B5BE, but I believe there are torque limits on these gears as well. as I undertand it chaging AUTGET from 1 to 0 will switch to a manual map instead

0x1B5AE is rev-limiter for gear 0 (N/P) when autget=1 and speed sensor error. Its limp-home map. No need to touch that.
0x1B5BE is "normal" rev limiter for gear 0. But that one is independent of autget.

Just change 0x1B5BE and that's all. No rev limiter on neutral regardless the gearbox.

This is for a manual swap, would just lifting the rev limiter work or would there also be boost/torque limits if the ECU is always in gear "0"?

Lifting rev limiter would... lift rev limiter.
With ATCONF=1 TCM sends CAN requests to ECM to limit torque in certain conditions.
With ATCONF=0 ECM limit torque based on fixed values (on each gear) - usually on stock sw 1st gear only.

Sorry I think there is some confusion, I was trying to say that 0x18FB3 is not ATCONF as switching it keeps the auto characteristics, so failing finding ATCONF I was looking to modify the bin to work as a manual

for manual swaps why not just flash the correct base software for that  motor / trans combo? then edit the cem config. and bam.
then get to tuning like normal on there.

ya'll overcomplicate shit like its rocket science.

0x18FB3 is ATCONF for 100%

What do you mean by "switching it keeps the auto characteristics"?

Just set ATCONF=0 and that basically makes the whole tune MAN version.
All other maps has tiny almost not relevant differences between MAN/AUT tunes.

With ATCONF=0 the engine only revs to 4000RPM, I can only assume this means it does not make the whole tune MAN. I did however get it working by flashing a EBMHDE version of a manual with the same engine and chassis code

Hi everyone, im new here but ive been stalking for years and learning from yall. Recently I took it upon myself to tune my 06 auto S60R (BW EFR7163 turbo) and its been a fight trying to figure everything out with messy definition files. Ive finally got the car in a good healthy place pushing 23psi on E85 fuel.
This week I tried pushing the boost beyond that but it seemed like the ECU is locked to ~23psi/2560mbar, and after some research I found that a 5120 hack needs to be done.

I searched all over to try to figure out how to do this hack, but I cannot find anything that can clearly guide me without risking the cars software/hardware.

Can anyone please advise on how to do this? I dont see any detailed info on the how in this thread either.

I have a 50WRHJ BIN.

TIA!

I have a 50WRHJ BIN.

TIA!

50WRHJ is not the sw version number. Volvo use different pattern for sw version numbering in later R cars.
Look for something like this: AAxxZJFHJC

Or just post your bin.

Youre right sorry, 72WRA is the SW version.
Heres a copy of my BIN. You can check my shoddy work if you want haha: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1wxJkWR_BRF3k9xAuzzePYxnavzk8N3OK&usp=drive_fs
