While doing long term tuning, sometimes I wish there was a way to disable LTFTs so I can tweak fueling appropriately, w/o worrying about what is going on behind the scenes.

Does anybody know an easy way to disable LTFTs?

CFRA?

Edit : NOLRA might be a better fit.

 I just unplug the Evap solenoid.

it is a minor annoyance of mine as well. But I am wondering if completely disabling LTFTs is really worth it... I wish there was a way of doing this easily for WOT conditions only.

Anybody knows if LTFT load thresholds are in some map or is it in the code?

What I mean by that is that I know for a fact there are at least 4 different sets of LTFTs values that can can show in block 032 partial load depending on current engine load. While I am ok with LTFTs being active for lambda=1 condition, the ECU also extrapolates WOT (full load) LTFT value from lesser load LTFTs and uses it when WOTing affecting AFRs. This results in annoying situation where you tune your car for perfect WOT AFRs and then weeks later the AFRs drift off from target and you find LTFTs while WOT not being "0" but some other value.

Ha, now I understand why I don't have LTFTs anymore... No evap.

Are you referring to these?

Code:
fra2_w            ;{AdaptationPartialBank2}           ; {multiplikative Gemischkorrektur der Gemischadaption (Word) Bank 2}
fra_w             ;{AdaptationPartial}                ; {multiplikative Gemischkorrektur der Gemischadaption (Word)}
frao2_w           ;{}                                 ; {multiplikativer Gemischadaptionsfaktor oberer Lastbereich (Word) Bank 2}
frao_w            ;{}                                 ; {multiplikativer Gemischadaptionsfaktor oberer Lastbereich (Word)}

and some idle ones too

Probably. For proper AFRs at WOT it would be a good idea to disable LTFTs for that load range.

NOLRA does not disable ltft's on ME7.5.

According to documentation:
The additive correction per time rkat_w calculated by the subfunction INTRKAT is multiplied by the factor N0/nmot (value
N0=640 rpm) and added to the additive correction per injection calculated by the subfunction INTRKAZ and then it is passed on
to the injection calculation (see mixture check %GK) as additive correction rka_w.

So i assume that by changing N0 == 0,  rkat_w == 0 so LFTF's are disabled.

What do your think of that? Do i miss something?

You need to disable rkaz too.

NOLRA can individually disable each range.

nyet, have you tested all of these?  i tried some and they were rejected...  i'll try again this evening after work.
