Open your bin file in a hex editor or tunerpro and its Hex viewer and Look around line 18520 you should see the software number in the right hand column.

Just above it usually has the Words Volvo No Administrator so its pretty easy to find. Then someone may be able to work out Def files if any available.

I didnt think any was for mine but the Guru of Volvo Me7 was very nice and shared it. Since then Ive worked out a few more my self.

Well in the meantime i tried the other fw version. And it seems its not that compatible. Car wont fire up on it. So flashed it back and all is fine again. But now i still dont have defs for my bin -_-

Its still stock 3.8Bar Bosch FPR but I put a ProFLow 350L fuel pump in as the Walbro 250 I ordered wouldnt fit.

I may do return later but not sure if its needed. Im not looking any more power than 300ish as its a 2.4T auto and stock rods. Onboard Dyno (OBD-Link) says im doing 312hp and 476nm torque this is up from 264hp and 434nm.
I got to 280hp with white injectors old turbo. Auto is taking it just fine as fitted a cooler, bypassing radiator and an external filter with full synth oil.

I just want to be safe. It has a stage 3 tune and TD04HL-20T turbo 3.18" downpipe, wasnt happy with AFRS and it tended to run hot hence started customising it myself.
Return system may make things un-nessarily complicated. But not hard for me to do if think its needed.

Im just looking at adding a very slight burble as it is a C70 and not a s60R  Cheesy
If im looking at it right KFZWMN 17.250 and 21.750 rows from 2520 to redline set ignition timing to -10
and KFTVSA Column 80.25 3000 and 4000rpm got it at 2.25 and 5000 to 6520 got it at 1.75

I dont want pops or crackles just a nice suttle burble.  I had it poping before before turbo and it blew the O2 sensor and I dont like that kind of oh there is a nother prop and crackle guy. XR5s and Hyundais are common hear with them tunes.
Anyone think before I flash it think its to agressive or two little to do anything?



Isnt it 3bar stock fuel pressure on non R models? My 16t 2.4t engine is saying 300+hp on logs

Im using 10 beta. seems .net6 breaks things with canbus communication. Thats what im thinking anyways.

I also use Volvo Checksum monitor and manually check files mainly as precaution.

Make sure you flash etc at the right canbus speed too depending on software. Says it on openmoose website.
Mine uses 250 other is 500.

atm 04 and older support is "broken" will be brought back

Sory DWTS,  for got the previous posts where software id was found.

I read pre 99 car p80s had 3bar and 00 on had 3.8 bar.

I Installed a 3bar when I got it and since had troubles with fueling Idle was usually around +14 but stfts would shoot high under load. Then went to white 380cc injectors and it was good again but stfts would still go high but more under high load.

Now with the 3.8bar Idle stfts are spot on but slowly creep high when car is idling for a around 20seconds or more. but under load its good. So it is most likely the fuel pump.

I could try getting a new hanger and fit the walbro 250. This 350 is made for v8s drag cars etc. Baught it for the s40 that will have a return system.

Your fuel pump will make negligible difference to your fuel trims unless it is pushing through the fpr.  You can also get a get an adjustable fpr on some of the older cars not sure if yours fits this bill. But I would ensure your tvub and krkte matches your injectors and fuel pressure because this will tremendously effect the trims.  Also don’t forget this pressure is plus atmospheric pressure when reading the injectors data

I have a GFB 3port regulator sitting in cupboard that can be used as 2 port. it wont fit the bosh / audi style adjustable FPR
Im at sea level, I used the Volvo KRKTE calculator. LTFTs stay at .79 under load and idle. its just the stfts at idle. It got better when adjusting TVUB slightly.
Ill refine it till its right. But if keeps creaping ill change FPR setup. I wouldnt mind changing the push on fittings to push lock fittings anyways.

Edit:
Just uploaded what I did for burble and it did the trick very suttle not loud at all.
With STFTS noticed it getting loud exhaust side under bonnet. Prob just need to tighten up EGT, and wideband sensors and check all studs as all new.

Usually I never have to adjust tvub from what is found in the datasheet with injectors as long as the injectors are decent. Some come with universal sheets and these need to be thrown away. 


Also if you have greens some greens aren’t the same as a standard Volvo green.  I remember seeing this in the past from Daniel

STFTS where all over the place untill I adjusted TVUB. FKKVS just cleaned it up a bit more.0
