One word constant in the LAMDSK function must be changed (stock 0x1000 = lambda 1.0).
Is it enough for me to change only this constant? should I change LAMSOSUF and LAMSOSOF too? But as soon as you slightly step on the accelerator ECU switch off idle condition flag and LAMFA and LAMBTS comes into play (on my ECU stock TABGBTS is set to -47,50 so LAMBTS is always used).
I logged lambda 1.07. The value 1.07 is maintained over the entire load range.

Your LAMFA and/or KFLBTS are all 1,0 No need to touch LAMSOSUF and LAMSOSOF. Fix your boost control. You have massive uncontrolled boost spike. Check KFLDIMX

You have massive uncontrolled boost spike.
But I didn't modify the engine. These are standard volvo calibrations. I'll check the wastegate setting. How can I limit the load range for lambda 1.07? For example, when rl_w is greater than 100%, lambda = 1.0

Added the ability to change to lambda values depending on wkrma values. Code borrowed from Audi RS4 B5 8D0997551K. The DLBTS map now replaces the KFLAMKRL map, and the KFFDLBTS map replaces the KFLAMKR map. Test maps:

The DLBTS map now replaces the KFLAMKRL map, and the KFFDLBTS map replaces the KFLAMKR map. Test maps: You start from the wrong side. Tune your LAMFA and KFLBTS first. You have those maps set to 1,0. Then tune your ignition to be on the edge of the knock. Its better to prevent knock then to fight with it. And if you have knock then you shouldn't fight it with fuel but rather with ignition retarding and ECU does pretty good job at that without "hacks". Read about KRRA in FR and see whats going on there if you want to dig more into knock control.

Hi all, this is quite an old thread, with alot of information to get through, I'm about 30 or so pages in, completely fresh to this so starting from the beginning.
Doing my best to piece together the information that's scattered around to allow me to bench read the ecu in my 2004 s60r, so I have a back up for any future issues.
I've bought a used, same model ecu to practice on, before I start could anyone confirm the information I've gathered is correct?
I'm using mpps v18, probably a clone, but I found a thread on here about finding one with a certain board layout, which i have.
Setting up wires Pins 11,37, both 12v, red. Pin 22, kline, green. Pin 53, ground, black. Internal chip boot pin, grey. 13.5v to be supplied to male connector type red and black wires (dedicated power supply) All other wires, can high/low and assortment of red and blacks are N/A.
The only info I can find on the boot pin is on the s4 wiki, this says about only grounding the boot pin for a few moments while powering up the ecu, also uses a switch to stimulate ignition, however this is different to the volvo me7 ecu, so im unsure if this procedure applies, or if I just leave the grey wire attached while I read the ecu data.
Can anyone confirm if this is setup correctly, and if the boot pin procedure is the same as show ln on the s4 wiki page?

So I've had it all correct except for the grey boot wire. Was actually just a ground, so black wire. It did take a bit of faffing to finally get a read, but I have my first bit of data.
Seamed to just be repeating the same thing over and over, all I was getting was a boot error, ecu not responding. After quite some time I started thinking I've either got this all wrong and I've bricked it, my interface is naff or maybe I just bought a dud ecu.
The attempt that finally worked. Selected generic, me7.xx 1mb. Powered on. Read id, waited for ground pin 24 prompt. Turned power off at the supply. Grounded pin 24, pressed quite hard. Turned power back on Counted to 6, slow mississippies. Removed ground, clicked ok. Got my id, read ecu, got my data.
Hoping this helps someone else, but honestly if it wasn't for everyone who's posted here, including the others who have been asking for help, I doubt I'd have figured it out. So a big thank you, to you all

You figured it out already but maybe that would help other people: No need to turn on ECU twice also no need to count to 6 Just ground boot pin, turn power ON and you can disconnect boot pin immediately. Then generic BOSCH 0,5/1MB (depends on sw version), then ID (to make sure connection established) and then just Read.
